Terms of Service

Last updated: February 4, 2026

1) About Virtual Callbox

Virtual Callbox is a mobile app that helps residents receive building entry calls, grant access, and share a unit with roommates. These Terms apply to our app and this website.

2) Using the service

You agree to use Virtual Callbox in a safe and lawful way. You’re responsible for what you do in the app, including who you invite and who you grant access to.

  • Don’t misuse the service, attempt to bypass security, or interfere with others.
  • Don’t share invite links publicly.
  • Only grant access when you understand who is requesting entry.

3) Accounts and access

You may need to create an account to use the app. Keep your account secure and notify us if you believe it’s been compromised.

4) Roommate invites

Invites are intended for specific people. If you receive an invite in error, don’t use it—contact us instead.

5) Safety note

Virtual Callbox is not an emergency service. Don’t rely on it as your only way to enter a building or to handle urgent situations.

Building entry and security decisions are ultimately yours. Please use good judgment and keep alternate access methods available.

6) Beta service

Virtual Callbox is currently in beta. That means features may change, and the service may have interruptions while we improve reliability and security.

7) Third-party services

We rely on third-party providers to run Virtual Callbox (for example: hosting, identity, and telephony). Their services may have their own terms and policies. Examples may include Supabase (data/auth), Twilio (telephony), Cloudflare (website delivery), and Apple or Google (sign-in).

8) Warranty disclaimer

Virtual Callbox is provided “as is” and “as available.” We don’t promise the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for any particular purpose.

9) Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Virtual Callbox and its operators won’t be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profit, or access.

10) Changes

We may update these Terms as we improve the product. If we make material changes, we’ll update the “Last updated” date.
